Marie Burgos Design is a full-service interior design firm that designs homes from concept to completion all over the US, as well as Commercial and Hospitality Interiors. We'll collaborate with you on the design intent of the home, develop and refine the ideas into clear goals, then work with you and the project architect and/or builder from planning to reveal, guiding you through the process and advising on every aspect of the architecture, construction and design of the interior and exterior of the home and property. This, to create a cohesive architectural and construction plan, while collaborating directly with you on a seamless interior design plan to make all of the spaces as beautiful, comfortable and personalized as possible. We work to truly understand your needs, style, and how you and your family live within your home; curating hand-crafted pieces that serve as a true reflection of you and your lifestyle.
Phase 1: Initial Concepts + Ideas
- Meeting with Client for space measurement and definition of space
characteristics.
- Definition of scope of work, budget and process
- Definition of design style and vision for the space
Phase 2: Design Development + Design Presentation
- Preparation of preliminary lay out
- Preparation of preliminary budget and cost estimates for required
furnishings and equipment.
- Preparation of drawings and other materials illustrating design
concepts, color schemes, floor and wall coverings, ceiling
and window treatments. (Floor plans, renderings, Design Boards)
- Schematic designs of features, including millworks cabinetry,
staircases, fireplaces, etc...
- Lighting design intent - layouts and fittings
- Presentation to client of plans, renderings and design boards
including choice of cabinetry, fabrics, paint colors, tiles, furnishing
and accessories.
Phase 3: Construction + Design Management
- Procurement for furniture, furnishing and finishes
- Items specifications and pricing estimates approval
- ordering placement
- Consultation and collaboration with other contractors
- Final Design concept completed with final selection of furniture
and furnishings.
Phase 4: Design Implementation and Installations
- Quality control of furnishing procured.
- Delivery coordination and Installation for furniture, furnishings
and accessories.
- Installation of window furnishings.
- Artwork and accessories placement
