New year Feng Shui Tips for Health, Wealth, Success and Happiness!

picture-9 Image of total luxury! Bring in health, wealth, success and happiness with these 9 tips:

1- Now is the perfect time to define your objectives and goals for the New Year. A great way to do that is by using a VISION BOARD. On it, you can list the things you want to attract to your life with images, photos and words, plus reset your goals and involve the universe.

2- De- clutter and reorganize your home and office. You will feel better and that will help your focus. By emptying your closets and cabinets you will enable fresh new energy and opportunities to flow to you.

Donate and give away to thrift shops, charities and neighborhood organizations. Or sell your old things on Ebay or Craigslist and donate the money.

3- Get your health checked. It is a great time to go visit your family doctor to start the year healthy and full of energy. Toss out old medicines and renew prescriptions.

4- Shop with abandon. Ensure your refrigerator, pantry, canisters, shakers are all full for this New Year. This represents abundance for the year ahead.

5- Review your contact list and ensure it is updated for professional and personal matters, with current phone numbers and addresses. Reach out to people you love to wish them a good New Year.

6- Respect the money in your wallet... and your wallet. Make sure it is not worn out or tattered. By keeping it full, It symbolizes having enough money all year long.

7- Get a new green plant or blooming flowers. They represent rebirth and growth for the New Year. They also symbolize health  for you and your family.

8- Make time to dream big. Prepare where you want to go this year, your travels, your vacations, your career changes, even new classes you want to take.

Live Well, Be Well, Work Well.

IS YOUR OFFICE SABOTAGING YOUR SUCCESS?

picture-13 The way your office is set up, where you place your desk, the colors you use, and even the lighting all have an effect on how you do business. Authentic Feng Shui can help you clear away negative energies — and energy blockages — that can sabotage efficiency, productivity and profitability. Advanced Classical Feng Shui formulas can even forecast where and when risks and opportunities might arise and what you can do to assure the greatest possible benefit.

While these calculations and even basic furniture placement are tied to the unique energy makeup of you and your office, these three general principles can help you create a supportive work environment.

1. Clear away objects that sabotage energy flow. Clutter isn’t just messy; it’s a magnet for attracting negative energy. If your desk and floor are scattered with unfinished projects, papers, files and mail, energy can’t flow freely. Trapped energy either goes stagnant or builds up into a force that can make you feel jittery, overwhelmed, irritable, fatigued or depressed. In such an environment, you’ll find it’s hard to concentrate and complete tasks. Problems build up, creativity suffers and conflicts arise.  Every item should have a designated home where you can find and easily access it. Take time to organize your files and use them so you don’t have to keep pieces of paper “in sight” just so you’ll know where they are.  Clear the jumble from your desktop so that your eye — and the energy in your space — have calm places to rest. And don’t forget the jumble on your computer: regularly clear away unnecessary email and files.

2. Reposition your desk. A sizable and neatly arranged desk attracts power and confidence. As a general rule, the best position for a desk is in the far right corner diagonally opposite from the door with your back to the wall or catty corner to the wall. In addition, try to avoid these three situations:

* Don’t put your desk in a direct line with the door. The energy coming from another office or hallway can cause discomfort. You may find yourself unable to concentrate and want to leave your desk.

* Don’t sit with your back to the door. You should have a clear view of the room and office door. This gives you energetic control over the space which, in turn, attracts energies that support you in feeling capable, relaxed, and confident.

* Don’t sit at a desk that places you directly under an exposed overhead beam.  That beam can concentrate energies in the area right over your head. If you spend eight or ten hours at your desk, you could find you suffer from headaches and you could literally feel you are “under too much pressure.”

3. Balance your office lighting. Lighting doesn’t just affect your eyes or even your mood. It also affects the energy in your office. Light – even sunlight – that is too bright creates an excessively “yang” energy that can cause agitation, conflict, and difficulty concentrating. By the same token, light that’s too dim creates an excessively “yin” energy that can produce fatigue and make it difficult to project a confident, capable presence. Feng Shui principles help balance your office’s lighting so that it’s bright enough to energize the space without disrupting harmony and concentration. Consider using natural spectrum light bulbs — they provide a more balanced light than traditional bulbs. Outfit windows with blinds that can filter and direct sunlight to prevent harsh shadows and glare. Consider desk lamps — they give you more flexibility in adjusting your overall lighting and then help balance the glare your computer screen can produce.

These three Feng Shui principles will go a long way toward helping you weed out “success sabateurs” that can choke off prosperity at work. But, as always, your own horoscope interacts with both the horoscope of your office and the energies flowing through it. If you make the changes suggested here but find that problems still persist – deals or promotions fall through, cash flow stalls, you can’t seem to get things done — a consultation with a Classical Feng Shui practitioner can quickly reveal the underlying causes and help you restore a positive energy flow.

Easy Tips to use to Feng Shui Your Office or Workspace.

tt5136lg.jpg

Feng Shui for the home is a great way of bringing balance and peace in your life but what about your office...?

With people spending more hours at work than at home, building positive energies in the office or workspace can affect your overall attitude and health.  If your job’s got you down, it may not be your work – it may be your space.  Taking the time to implement a few Feng Shui guidelines to your office or workspace may make the difference between dreading your morning commute to looking forward to your career.

DEFINING YOUR GOALS: is a great way to feel uplifted and motivated to work. I find that the easiest way to formulate my goals is to use visualization. You can make a collage  of the things you desire and display it in your office to give you inspiration or you can write a letter to the universe. Two years ago I wrote a description of my ideal job on a piece of red paper and hung it in the career area of my bedroom and now I am living it daily.

GETTING RID OF CLUTTER: is an essential step to apply as the problem with clutter is: “it leaves no room for growth!”

Often, the clutter in your office creates confusion in your mind. It adds negative emotions such as stress, moodiness, overwhelming feelings, exhaustion. It also affects deadlines, finances, your professional image, your time as things get lost or damaged...

The best approach for De-cluttering is define what you need, love or use and put systems in place. The rest needs to go!

LOCATING YOUR DESK in the “Command Position”

This means that your desk needs to face the door and you should have a view on the overall space. Does your desk face the entrance?  If not, then you may be feeling vulnerable and nervous.  Try moving your desk around or adding a mirror that will allow you to see the door or entrance.  Having your back towards a window can also bring on feelings of insecurity.  Hang blinds or curtains to lessen this feeling.

DISPLAYING INSPIRATIONAL VISUALS such as images of people that are your mentors, heroes, even your team if you need their support. Any images, even abstract art or landscape which represents achievement for you can work.

USING COLOR. It is very important in the art of Feng Shui.   Offices and workspaces are often painted white but this color is not the most cheerful to work around.  In Feng Shui we define 2 types of colors. The Yin colors promote healing and relaxation such as black, blue, green, purple. And the yang colors are essential to provide enthusiasm and the positive energy required needed to do something or be motivated. The best colors associated to career are black for business, green for money, red to give a boost to all projects. Use color in your clothing, on the walls, for accessories, even for files and folders.

LIGHTING UP is essential for a happy work environment.  Replace fluorescent bulbs with full spectrum bulbs.  If you’re unable to do this, then try bring in your own lighting with floor and desk lamps.

POTTING PLANTS help bring nature and air into an area.  Always work with an odd number of healthy plants. 9 is the ideal number. Remember to place a plant in your prosperity area (far left side of the room from the entrance) to help grow your finances.

USING WATER at the entrance of your workspace or office promotes peace in the room – this is why so many find it appealing to have one in their front yards.  Put a small fountain or even a picture of water near your entrance to achieve this calming effect; a small fish tank is another option. But more than anything, water at the entrance supports your career as it  represents a flowing river bringing in new opportunities.

STAYING UP TO DATE by using recent and well maintained equipment. You want to ensure that you get all the support you need and that your work is facilitated. Also, having the right tools helps keeping you stress level down, reach your deadlines and show professionalism.

BRINGING YOUR PERSONALITY into your office. It is an essential ingredient to help you feel comfortable and raise your confidence. So display photos of people you love and that are supportive of you. Also put your stamp in by displaying items that identify you such as hobby items and memorabilia.

You now have a list of easy tips to use for your office. And the benefits are endless... You can achieve career advancement, reduce your stress, improve your focus, make more money, enhance authority and confidence... So Use Feng Shui to boost your career!

GROWING YOUR WEALTH WITH FENG SHUI: "THE SPIRITUAL STEPS"

Lucky coins

Growing wealth will involve good placement in your environment but it is also very important to address your own personal thoughts and behavior towards money. Wealth starts with attitude.

Changing Your Inward attitudes about Money

1. Pay attention to how you handle money every day. Do you keep paper money neatly sorted in your wallet or money clip, or is it jammed in there any old way, or crumpled up at the bottom of your pocket? Clean the clutter out of your purse and wallet, and start handling your money as though you value it. Balance your checkbook regularly and pay your bills on time. Put your checkbook in an attractive cover (choose green, purple, red, blue, or black) and keep it in the wealth area of your desk - that's the rear left corner again -- or in the wealth area of your office.

Bulky wallet Wallet

2. Live generously. Money is a form of energy, and it needs to flow through your life, not just into it. Having it immobilized in, work against more coming in, while giving generously within your means makes space for even greater abundance. If you don't yet have ample money to share, give of your time, energy, compassion, and appreciation.

3 Create a “financial plan” that speaks your dreams and desires. Put together a board of images, words and even figures of things you want to acquire. Those will inspire you when you see them everyday and reinforce the intentions you have.

4 Count your Blessings like gold. Take a few moments every evening to think about all the good things that happened to you today and to express your gratitude for what you have received. Small things count, too, it doesn’t all have to be spectacular. It's not what happened that's important; it's getting in the habit of focusing on the positive side of things every day that matters. The more you notice, appreciate, and express gratitude for blessings received, no matter how small, the more good things will come your way, including money.

A true experience of prosperity is determined not by how much money you have, but by how well you notice and enjoy what is already present in your life. As you de-clutter, repair, and accessorize your wealth area keep in mind your final intentions and be positive about the path that you are taking to bring abundance in your life. You will start by celebrating being rich in friends and family, rich with good moments, rich with ideas then material blessings will come to you as well.

"GROWING YOUR WEALTH WITH FENG SHUI"

pig

Why do some people feel wealthy with a few dollars and others poor with Millions? The answer is: Attitude. Wealth is a state of mind!

There is an endless pool of wealth in the universe, enough for everyone; you can have everything you desire. You just need to think you have abundance and prosperity around you. And the place to start with is actually inside your home.

Feng Shui used properly in the Prosperity area of your home could create many changes in your life, you could:

Get a raise

Receive unexpected money

Make more money with your business

Have money to go on a dream vacation

Acquire a stable income

Increase wealth for good things in life

Find inner peace and true happiness with what you have in life

There are three main steps you need to consider in order to create more wealth:

1- Define your intentions

2- Locate and create areas that will boost your financial success

3- Study your attitude about money.

Defining your intentions:

1- Know what you want: The strength of your intention is what makes your success with Feng Shui. If you are enthusiastic and excited with an idea or a project, your energy level is so much higher than if you don’t really believe in it. When you focus on an unsatisfactory situation, your energy becomes stuck there. You need to approach things with optimism, confidence, enthusiasm and panache! This helps keeping the energy high to feed the project.

2- Make a list of things that you desire or want to achieve. Doing this helps you clarify your intentions. So be bold! Take a notepad or open a new document on your computer and make a list of 108 things you want to do or have in your life (It sounds like a lot but it is a multiple of 9: the Feng Shui Lucky number). Each time you achieve one you should cross it off and send your thanks to God or the Universe.

3- Make affirmations of what you want or where you want to be like though you are already there. Good examples are “My financial resources are increasing steadily every day”, “I always have what is necessary for my family”, “Money comes to me regularly and easily”, etc…

It is important to clarify your intentions to reach your objectives. Feng Shui will help you to do so in different steps.
