French native Marie Burgos founded her interior design firm in 2007 with an emphasis on residential spaces which rapidly expanded to commercial design. Marie’s ultimate talent is understanding her clients needs and creating home, office and commercial interiors that are balanced, sophisticated, and highly functional.
Marie’s graduate study earned her a Masters of Business Management degree from the University of Paris after which she acknowledged her respect and love for design by completing her degree in Interior Design at New York University.
Marie’s quest for balancing elegance and harmony with tasteful luxury lead to further studies and certification in Feng Shui through an accomplished disciple of Grand Master Lin Yu of Berkley California where she earned “Red Ribbon” status membership to the international Feng Shui Guild and Interior Design Society.
Over a sixteen year period Marie was engaged internationally in the Restaurant Launching and Management Industry before she founded her firm Marie Burgos Design in 2007 to focus on a cultivated and growing list of personal clients.
In 2008 Marie also held the coveted position of Stylist Director for the Home Décor department of World Bride Magazine. As a stylist director and designer, Marie enjoyed the privilege of successfully matching and managing the styles of various artists, designers and crafts professionals in home interior design display and product showcasing.
Marie’s exuberance and expertise has made her a highly requested speaker for events organized by designer showrooms, corporations and national retail groups such as Macy’s. She also was invited to the Manhattan Public Library for a special honorable event presentation after being proclaimed “Feng Shui Master” by Time Out NY.
She is currently working on product designs that will be introduced in 2010 and has been recognized by several magazines as a talented interior designer for her work both in residential and commercial designs fields.
