Tips for making a smaller space appear larger

picture-7 When faced with a scale challenge, I like to employ a scale response.  Fewer, larger pieces make a small space feel luxurious by embracing and defying the size restriction. It’s all about editing.

I really enjoy the constraints imposed by a small space because the conversation becomes about selecting the most meaningful pieces to tell the story without distraction.

I like dark, flat colors because they add theatricality while blurring the visual boundaries.
